The Life Of A Barber
From my perspective of coarse
Cesar Flores
First off lets get one thing understood, barbering is a lifestyle. It is something you take home with you, literately, have someone smell the aroma you emit. Don't forget to check for hair on your shoe laces. You Walk into a building, you notice ten people standing in line, you hop in line, if you didn't pull up Instagram and noticed your first post was probably a haircut, you look straight and notice hair is in front of you. you can't help but start appreciating and imagining. "that is great hair", "I wonder what artist did that","what would i have done different", "I wonder if he/she enjoys how it makes them look", if you didn't ask, you move on. In the shop as you may know, is where the magic happens. We aim to make you look your prime all while maintaing an experience we hope you remember. Sometimes the conversations are upliftings. others, not so much. The barber must reach deep into his mind and find the correct words to say to help make that persons day a little better. Other times the barber listening and providing an enjoyable experience is all it takes. It is an amazing journey for it is a complete experience, good friends, good music, good energy, and good money if you have the passion. We jump out of bed at sunrise with the intentions to succeed in aiming to perfect what we love doing.
Are you a barber? Please comment one of your many experiences of being a barber. I would love to read your story.
